Governance Forum

It’s unusual for key personnel to get together with their peers and share experiences and opinions on the hot topics of the day – informally, and with no speakers or consultants.

This is why we launched the eShare Charities Governance Forum. It’s a true forum with eShare Charities acting purely as a facilitator and everyone encouraged to make an equal contribution to the debate. And it’s free!

Put simply, the forum operates on the assumption that we can and should improve the way we govern charities. The objective is to share a broad range of positive views on how we can achieve that goal – and to do that we like attendees to come with an open mind and honest approach to discussing both the problems and the solutions.

Forum members have stressed that there has to be continuity between forums to achieve anything viable, so we do ask for a commitment from our core members to try and attend every event (subject to all the usual work pressures). Needless to say, guests are always very welcome!
